Terms of Use – SSAC Electronic Portal

Introduction:

The Saudi Sports Arbitration Center (SSAC) Electronic Portal is an official platform for delivering sports arbitration services. It includes submitting arbitration requests, tracking the status of disputes, communicating with SSAC, and receiving arbitration awards. Using this portal constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to these terms, which form a binding agreement between the user and SSAC.


1. Scope of Use

The portal provides electronic services dedicated to submitting arbitration requests, uploading documents, tracking proceedings, viewing updates, and receiving notifications related to disputes.

Use of these services is subject to full compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures adopted by SSAC, as well as the applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


2. Account Creation and Data Submission

Using the portal requires creating an electronic account and providing accurate and complete information upon registration.

Users are strictly prohibited from submitting any false or misleading information when creating an account, submitting requests, uploading documents, or interacting with the portal in any manner.

Users bear full responsibility for the accuracy and validity of the information provided and are liable for all actions carried out through their account.

SSAC reserves the right to take appropriate legal actions—including rejecting or canceling requests, suspending or terminating accounts, or referring the matter to the relevant authorities—should it detect false or misleading information or intent to deceive.


3. Data and File Confidentiality

All data and documents submitted through the portal are treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with the policies and procedures adopted by SSAC.

Users are prohibited from sharing dispute-related content or documents with unauthorized parties.

SSAC reserves the right to publish the status of disputes, the dispositive part of arbitral awards, summaries of decisions, or full awards for purposes of documentation, transparency, or legal awareness, while preserving the confidentiality of sensitive information, as determined by SSAC.


4. Portal as an Official Notification Medium

The SSAC Electronic Portal is deemed an official channel for all notifications, correspondences, requests, alerts, awards, and decisions issued by SSAC.

Any notification delivered through the portal is considered legally binding and effective.

Users are responsible for regularly accessing their accounts on the portal and reviewing updates and notifications within the specified timeframes. Claims of unawareness of such notifications or correspondences will not be accepted.


5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to the portal and its contents belong to SSAC. Reuse, reproduction, or publication of any part of the portal is prohibited without prior written permission.


6. Modifications and Updates

SSAC reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use or the services offered through the portal without prior notice. Continued use of the portal following any such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.


7. Liability

SSAC bears no liability for technical failures or data loss resulting from circumstances beyond its control.

Users are responsible for taking all necessary technical precautions to safeguard their data and monitor the status of their disputes consistently.


8. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the event of any dispute arising from the use of the portal, jurisdiction shall lie with the courts of Saudi Arabia.
